Troy is a Gold Legacy Lifetime VFW Member of the Benbrook Memorial VFW Post 10429.  He is currently serving as the Post Commander and a 2nd year Trustee for the Texas VFW District 21.  He was in the US Air Force as a Health Services Management IT Specialist from January 1989 – November 2000. 

During his enlistment, he was deployed for Operation Desert Storm and to Zimbabwe, Africa for a humanitarian effort.  He was stationed at Lackland AFB, Texas, Incirlik AB, Turkey, Andersen AFB, Guam and Whiteman AFB, Missouri.   

He is currently employed at the Department of Veterans Affairs where he’s worked in the Office of Information Technology for 20+ years.
