Bill is a Life Member of VFW Post 10429. He currently serves as the Post Adjutant, a position he has been honored to hold for several years. He graduated from Michigan Technological University in 1962 and received an ROTC commission. He served twenty years in the U.S. Air Force. His duties included engineering and B-52 Navigator Bombardier flying missions in the Vietnam War. He received an MBA while on active duty from Golden Gate University. Upon retirement from the military he worked at the "Bomber Plant” in Fort Worth for twenty-two years. He has been happily married to the love of his life, Lois, for fifty-seven wonderful years and is currently enjoying full retirement.
